| | Safe Schools Reminder! Due to an increse in these types of activities within our school district, we think there is a need to present this "safe schools" reminder to all. Failure to comply will lead to suspension/expulsion and arrest.
Student and staff safety is an important priority at all CUSD schools. Parents are asked to remind their students not to bring "look-alike" guns to school. "Look-alike" weapons include items such as air soft guns, paint ball guns or other "toy-type" guns. Students found in possession of these items could face school disciplinary measures such as a suspension or expulsion and possibly criminal charges. It is not permissible to store these items in backpacks, school lockers or personal vehicles parked on campus.
Students are not allowed to bring real firearms, ammunition, weapons, knives/razor blades and other dangerous items to school.
Please call or email our school administration, should you have any questions about this reminder.
Thank you for your continued efforts in keeping our schools safe! | |

| | Community Input Regarding CUSD Facilities: We want to hear from You! The CUSD Board is in the process of making important decisions regarding K-12 district facilities. The district is hosting three workshops to get input from our students, staff, parents, and community members. At these meetings, we will share information about existing facilities, enrollment projections, proposed projects, and available sources for funding projects, including the 1998 Bond. Please come and give us your ideas, suggestions, and feedback!
Other Means of Communication: If you have comments or concerns, please email Interim Superintendent, Kelly Staley or any Board Member.
