| | Performing Arts Center - Update
Initial meetings were held in September to determine a possible timeline for completion. We have started the conversation about what the project will look like. There will be meetings on campus with interested staff members to create a vision that can be communicated to an architect.
In October we shared that vision and began the process of looking at various designs. It is our hope that we will have an architect selected in the near future to create a conceptual design to be presented to the Board for approval. Once approved, a construction document will be created and submitted to the State Architext by summer. If approved, the project will go out to bid.
If all goes well:
* if we get Board approval,
* if there are funds for new construction available from fees
paid by local builders,
it is possible that we will have a PAC with classrooms ready for student occupancy in the fall of 2009. Thanks for your continued support! | |
