| | Students are responsible for completing every assignment given during the year. Any missing assignment will lower the grade in that area. Note: NO LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED! NO EXCEPTIONS! If the student has an excused absence, he/she will have the equivalent number of days to make up the work. | |

| | Students must bring their notebooks and books to class every day or they will lose points each time. All major writing assignments and projects are to be typed or printed on a computer. All major writing assignments and projects are due on the due date regardless of a student's absence. (A major assignment/project is any assignment the student has known about for at least two weeks.) There are NO exceptions to the above information! | |
| | A tardy is not being in your seat when the bell rings to begin class! Following the school-wide tardy policy, if the student arrives late within the first 5 minutes of class, he/she is assigned a minimum detention of 10 minutes. (For example, 11 minutes late = 30 minute detention) Detention is held at lunch and after school. Students who fail to make up tardies or continue to arrive tardy will be referred to administration. Note: Excessive tardies could result in on-campus lunch suspension and/or Saturday school.
A truancy is any uncleared absence. For every truancy the student will be assigned Saturday school. No exceptions! All absences must be cleared in the main office within two days of a student's return. | |
| | Hall passes are given to students in emergency situations, and are issued at the discretion of the teacher. If a student must leave on a regular basis, please provide the school nurse with a written description of the medical condition. | |
| | 1. Be in your seat with all the materials needed for class when the bell rings. 2. Remove hats, hoods, and sunglasses when you enter the room. 3. Show respect to your fellow students and teacher. 4. No food or drink. 5. Do not interfere with another student's opportunity to learn. | |
