Term Papers
| | World Literature is a university prep class in which students will read, respond to, and analyze a variety of world lit. Students will read literary selections from the world's ancient and modern cultures. They will continue to build on their writing and research skills while utilizing MLA format and using all resources in our library. Students will also make several prepared oral presentations. This course meets the U.C. "B" requirement and transfers to the C.S.U. systems. | |

| | The dreaded term paper appears three times a year. Students will have an entire month to complete each paper. The paper requires students to read, research, and seriously analyze while using MLA format. (It is not a book report.) While these papers are tedious, lengthy, and stressful, they are extremely crucial in preparing students for the kind of writing they will do in college. Every year I have former students return to confirm that my term papers are the reason they are successful with their college level writing (and not just in English class!).
