sequence of governments: Empire, Monarchy, 100 days Empire, Monarchy,
Liberal Monarchy, Republic, Empire, Republic, Authoritarianism, and finally
Republic. For this great variance, France helps us to fulfill our goal
of comparative government. It's rare that you can so much with one
